I love all the different holidays we get and have always tried to make it as exciting as I could for the kids... with most holidays we have had our own tradition with the way we celebrate and obviously from now on those traditions are going to be a bit different :s not really something I wanted to do but hey ho a change is as good as a rest an all that! Having a bigger family has meant that Phil is having to change his 5 seat car to a 7 seat car and because we don't get it until Saturday we couldn't go to our usual Easter haunt... Ness Gardens (I am over it now :p ) so we started newish traditions with an all over the house Easter egg hunt and the Easter bunny granted our request and the kids had so much fun that Moo asked if we could hide the eggs and start again!
The hunt begins with clue number one telling them to get dressed and brush their teeth :)
Next clue and its downstairs to the place where we eat
Next one takes them to somewhere that's hot and cold :)
Abbee and Moo were very hot....but Ellee was hottest :)
last of all to the place where we have family nights!!!

These cards melted and broke my heart at the same time...They were only allowed to make one card per person in school so both Ellee and Nathan wrote it to us all...I always hated the idea of the kids being part of a broken family and they are coping so well it makes me feel very proud! Hopefully cards like this mean it doesn't feel so broken to them??!
