A Very Creative Lady

Been a while since my last update... lifes been hectic but our family is at its most calmest that it has been in years!!! The kids have really chilled out and we are in love with life :) There have been loads of familyness of late and considering the mad year we have all had I feel so giddy with life! Our new addition is due in 2 weeks and even with the scares we have had over our Lola arriving I feel like she will just add to our high!

We had a fabulous little trip to Blackpool at the end of Sept and with a full car and then meeting up with my sister and co ...the kids had a blast!!!

I loved seeing the lights and seeing the kids have such a good time! Definately more times like this to come!

We just managed to get in a little family break before the kids go back to school...I was concerned for how the kids would cope with the three hour journey but they were all fab :) and enjoyed the KFC as we got close to our destination!!! We had such a good time the kids really chilled and it was so nice to see them finally relax (and for me too aswell)

The next day we had wrestling and Nathan was chosen from the audience to do some air guitar!!! pretty scary when he climbed the ring ropes to show off his skills :)

A bit of wall climbing and abseiling for Ellee and Nathan meant my heart was in my mouth for 30 mins :p

Haven does STEPs :) they were fab!!!

This comedian was seriously funny!!! We were all in stitches :)

Ellee and Nathan were fab at using the Aqua Jets...Its so nice to see how confident they both are :)

this summer they have really grown and Ellee and Nathan have joined forces and done stuff together which has been great to see!!! Even going on all the water slides which has been huge!!!

and they had a race... they get along so much better now they are getting older

a bit of rain and the geese came out to play!

Gunge night was fun...when they wanted a teenage volunteer both Ellee and Nathan appeared from different directions to drag Abs to the stage! Luckily someone else already got chose

Ellee and Nathan went off to the Water Walkers :)

Abbee would sooner sit and have a drink with us adults and our crazy conversations :)

then we spotted a guy who really looked like Abbees great Grandad who died a couple of years ago...he really was the spitting image of him!

Wasn't long til the monkeys came back

Ellees team won at archery! (with only a little bit of cheating!)

Ellee put down her Bow and ran inside to make it in time for the talent show auditions!!! over 40 kids auditioned with all different acts and Ellee was chosen to be in the show with 4 other acts!!!

Ellee had to miss kayaking because she got through to the show so Nathan went alone but he had a great time :)

I felt the strangest feeling of overwhelming proudness where my heart wanted to burst and then a wish that her dad could feel it too! Its not the nicest feeling to have felt such a sadness and then a rush of wanting to tell everyone there that she is my daughter and considering she never spoke until she had speech therapy aged three and how difficult life can be for her trying to fit in and feel normal instead of Autistic I just wanted everyone to know! But she was really calm and composed and sung her little heart out and when the presenter asked her to tell us about herself she just said she was 11 and starting high school in September... she attends a great stage school and plays the flute and the piano :) she is just amazing!!!
